Selena received an Associate's degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi where she double-majored in Elementary Education and Reading Specialist. She earned her Masters from Grand Canyon University majoring in Secondary Education. In 2019 she published one children's book, Mike at the Aquarium, and one coming of age novel, It's a Mendose Thang: RoJoe's Dilemma. She is a retired high school English teacher who plans on assisting individuals with mental health challenges through her writings.
Richard is a former Army Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. He is a retired Corrections Officer. He currently volunteers to help individuals improve their lives spiritually. He is also interested in assisting persons with mental health challenges enjoy a better quality of life.
William is a graduate of Pfeiffer University where he received his Bachelor's in Accounting. He is now a full-time author. Reading since the age of four has inspired him to become an author. His first book, Pure Bloods: Never Ending, was published in April 2016. He plans to help people living with mental health challenges through his writing.
Nan Allen, PhD, LCMHC, NCC, is a graduate of the University of Iowa. She is the proprietor of Nan Allen & Associates in Cary, NC. As a practical, interactive, solution-focused psychologist, Dr. Allen provides insightful support and feedback to her patients while offering compassionate and sensitive resolutions to their challenges.
Lester Thomas, MBA, M.Ed., Ed.S., is a noted scholar, lecturer, and author. He received his degrees from Walden University, Strayer University, and Medgar Evers College in New York. He is the Founder of The Ujima Group, Inc., in Cary, NC, formed in 1994. THE UJIMA GROUP, INC. is a 501(c) nonprofit, community-based organization that believes in promoting cultural diversity, computer technology, and risk prevention through educational programs and the arts.
Marlen is a graphic artist, music producer, and acrylic canvas artist. He is a gifted musician who has been playing the piano since he was a child. He plans to assist the mental health community by providing authors with illustrations to accompany their word pictures.
Stacie Hammes Foxx is a prolific yet-to-be-published author and illustrator. She is self-taught in both fields.
She has a professional background in Elementary Education and taught for 15 years in 3 public school systems in Southern California.
